As a child, I watched cartoons. And as an adult, I still do. I love watching Blue Fairy, Princess Luna and Captain Planet kick butt. But what if the characters in these cartoons were blue?

That would be so cool! Here are some of my favorite cartoon characters and what they'd look like if they were blue.

The Blue Fairy is a fictional character in Carlo Collodi's book The Adventures of Pinocchio. She is the spirit of a good and kind fairy who helps Pinocchio become a real boy.

The Blue Fairy can be seen as the personification of goodness and kindness, since she takes pity on Pinocchio when

Princess Luna

Princess Luna is a female character from the cartoon series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is the younger sister of Celestia and the former Nightmare Moon.

In season 1, Luna helps her sister with maintaining harmony in Equestria until she is freed from her imprisonment by an evil unicorn named Tirek and subsequently turns into Nightmare Moon once again due to her negative feelings toward being imprisoned for 10,000 years.

Captain Planet is a fictional superhero created by Ted Turner and Barbara Pyle, who first appeared in 1990 on the TBS (Turner Broadcasting System) animated series Captain Planet and the Planeteers. The character is also a corporate mascot for environmentalism. Created as an instrument of satire, the show did not intend to be taken seriously.

Captain Planet has been around for over 20 years but still holds up as one of television's most charming characters.

Mystique

Mystique is a shapeshifter and member of the Brotherhood of Mutants. She's also a mutant, which allows her to assume anyone's appearance at will. In fact, she even had an illegitimate son with Charles Xavier called Nightcrawler!

Grouchy Smurf

Grouchy is one of the Smurfs in the cartoon series. He's a blue Smurf who wears a red hat, red pants and black boots. Grouchy is one of the oldest of all the Smurfs.

Grouchy is known for being grumpy all the time; this makes him very unpopular among most people who meet him except when they need help with something they can't do themselves such as fixing something mechanical or finding lost items hidden in trees or bushes around their village home near Crazyland Forest where Gargamel lives with his cat Azrael (Azrael looks like Garfield).

Road Runner

Road Runner is a Looney Tunes character and the most famous of Wile E. Coyote's adversaries. He is an anthropomorphic bird with super speed and a preference for Acme products, particularly his favorite food, Beep Beep Fruit Juice Drink.

Road Runner first appears in Fast and Furry-ous as the main antagonist, but he does not speak (the only time he talks with words in this cartoon is at the very end when he makes fun of Wile E. 's failed attempts).

My Pet Monster was a children's television show that premiered on the NBC network in 1988. It was created by Sid and Marty Krofft and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. The show centers around a group of friendly monsters who live together in the fictional town of Can-A-Kakotopia, USA.

My Pet Monster was a spinoff from Lidsville, another Krofft production which also aired on NBC from 1971 to 1973.

Avatar Warrior

Hades is the ruler of the underworld, which means he's basically in charge of death. He's also a god of wealth, which means that if you're super into money and want to be rich forever then you'll want to make him your best friend.

Undercover Genie

Undercover Genie is a cartoon character that was created by Hanna-Barbera Productions. He is a genie who lives in a lamp and grants wishes to his master.

Latios

Latios is a dragon-type Pokémon. It can create a psychic space in its body and hide from enemies.

It is the male counterpart to Latias. It can use telepathy to communicate with other Latias or Latios.

Sonic

Sonic, also known as Sonic the Hedgehog, is a blue hedgehog who can run at supersonic speeds.

He appears in many games of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise developed by Sega and was created by game designer Yuji Naka. He first showed up in 1991 as the protagonist of the video game titled "Sonic" for the Sega Genesis (known as Mega Drive outside of North America).

Cookie Monster is a blue monster with a big appetite. He loves cookies and snacks, so much so that he will stop at nothing to get his hands on some of them.

His friends have learned that if you're feeling hungry, all you have to do is ask Cookie Monster for some of his treats!

Cookie Monster has been around since 1969 when he first appeared on Sesame Street as a puppet character. Since then, he has become one of the most popular Muppets ever created.

Periwinkle

In the world of Pokémon, Golduck is a species of Pokémon. It is a Water type Pokémon and can be used in battle by players. In the game's plot, Golduck has been known to live in Kanto and Johto on occasion.

Golduck's name comes from the words "Gold" and "Duck".

Glaceon

Glaceon is a pure Ice-type Pokémon, and the second of the Eeveelution family to become an Ice-type. This transformation was first seen in Eevee & Friends: The 10th Anniversary (which is basically an origins movie for all the Pokemon).

Glaceon has a light blue body with white fur covering most of it, excluding its nose and paws.

It has small black eyes with red eyelids. Its ears are also covered in white fur, as well as its tail which ends in a fluffy white ball shape at the tip.

Glaceon's cry sounds like three notes played on bells or chimes, "koruru koruru". It can walk up walls and across ceilings because of its transparent paws that are similar to ice skates!

Dragonair

Dragonair is a Water-type Pokémon. It evolves from Dratini at level 30 and can Mega Evolve into Mega Dragonair using the Dragonairite.

Dragonair's name is a portmanteau of dragon and air, referencing its serpentine body and the fact that it has wings on its back which allow it to fly.

Squirtle

Squirtle is a fictional creature from the Pokémon media franchise. It first appeared in Pokémon Red and Blue, but has made cameo appearances in several other video games since.

Squirtle is known as the Tiny Turtle Pokémon, and it evolves into Wartortle starting at level 16, which then evolves into Blastoise starting at level 36.

Squirtle's design is based on a turtle or tortoise. It has blue skin and big eyes with red irises and three spikes on its shell that resemble fins on a sea turtle's shell (although they are actually ears).

Grover is a blue monster and he is one of the members of Sesame Street. He was first seen in the show in 1975 and has been there ever since.

He is known as a teacher, but he also considers himself to be everyone's friend. Grover loves to help others, especially those who are scared or upset about something.

He tries his best to make sure everyone feels safe and happy when they arrive at school because he knows how hard it can be when you're new!

Merlin

Merlin is a powerful sorcerer, who acts as Arthur's mentor. He also becomes friends with Gwen and Morgana. Merlin is voiced by Colin Morgan.

Merlin is the main protagonist of the series that bears his name, which was developed for television by Julian Jones, Johnny Capps and Julian Murphy for Shine Television (an independent production company). It was aired on BBC One from 20 September 2008 to 24 December 2012.

Toucan Sam

Toucan Sam is the mascot for Froot Loops cereal. Toucan Sam was created in 1963 as a cartoon character that appears on boxes of Froot Loops.

The current Toucan Sam is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker and has been featured in commercials since 2001. There are many other characters in the Froot Loops family, including Chiffon the Swan, Fruita Marshmallow Turtle and Foo-Foo Snack Lion

Blueberry Muffin

Blueberry Muffin is a character from the cartoon series, Courage the Cowardly Dog. He is a blue rabbit who is a resident of Nowhere, Kansas. Blueberry Muffin is often seen with his best friend, Courage.

Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash is the main character of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the second incarnation of Rainbow Dash. She has a pegasus pony form, which she shares with Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and her former friends in Cloudsdale.

As a background character for most episodes during season one, she became an important member of the cast starting with season two.

A tomboyish cyan pegasus pony who flies fast and speaks in a loud voice (usually yelling), Rainbow Dash lives in Ponyville where she runs the weather team called "The Best Pegasus Squad Ever" along with her friends Fluttershy and Applejack.

Her favorite food is apple pie and she likes to think that she can do everything better than anyone else on or off screen (though this is not always true).

Grumpy Bear

Grumpy Bear is a cartoon character in the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. He was created by Friz Freleng, one of the most celebrated directors and animators in the history of Warner Bros. animation.

His first appearance was in "Yankee Doodle Daffy" (1943) where he introduces himself as "Mr Grump."

In this cartoon he is voiced by Mel Blanc and made his last appearance years later in "D' Fightin' Ones" (1967) where he is shown to be working for Marvin The Martian.

In the movie, Aladdin and his genie are both blue. But in the cartoon series Aladdin was human and not blue. In the cartoon series, he is a white man with red hair wearing Arabian clothing with a turban on his head.

His name is Prince Ali Ababwa, but he pretends to be someone else when he meets Jasmine for dinner at Cafe Abu's because she has been forbidden from seeing any men outside of her father's kingdom as part of her coronation ceremony after becoming princess of Agrabah which takes place once she turns 18 years old (this means that they would have met almost 20 years before they actually did).

In this episode, "Make A Wish," Genie grants Aladdin three wishes: food for himself and his friends; new clothes for himself; and one more wish if needed later on! This sounds pretty good right? Well it doesn't end well either…

Lyssa Drak

Lyssa Drak is a character from the Wonder Woman comic books. She's the daughter of Ares, the God of War, and an Amazon Princess named Myrina Black who was abducted and raped by him. Lyssa was born with dark hair and skin—both traits that are very rare in Themyscira (the island where Wonder Woman lives).

Lyssa grew up with her mother on Earth in secret while they waited for an opportunity to return home. When they finally did go back to Themyscira as adults, Lyssa immediately challenged Diana for leadership of their people (since she's also descended from Hippolyta). After a fierce battle between them that destroyed part of Paradise Island, Queen Hippolyta decreed that neither woman could claim leadership over their people until one defeated the other in combat—which hasn't happened yet!

Gusto Gummi

Gusto Gummi is a blue cartoon character that first appeared in the 1960s. Gusto was created by Hanna-Barbera, and he is best known for his time on "The Flintstones". In addition to his work on "The Flintstones", Gusto also appeared in other shows like "Jonny Quest" and "Scooby Doo'' (his most famous role).

Merryweather

Merryweather is a fictional character in the Disney Fairies franchise. She is a pixie and a nymph, the mother of Tinker Bell, and the teacher of Tink, Rosetta, Silvermist, Vidia and Fawn.

She is also Queen Clarion's friend.

My Pet Monster

My Pet Monster was a show that aired on CBS in 1989. The series was about a boy named Peter who had a monster that he called Mr. Moo (a blue monster). Peter and Mr. Moo were best friends and they went on adventures together.

The Snow Queen

  • The Snow Queen is a character in the fairy tale "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen.
  • The Snow Queen is the main antagonist of the story, and she lives in an ice palace high up in the mountains.
  • She has blue eyes and long white-blonde hair that looks almost like icicles.

The Reluctant Dragon

In 1908, Kenneth Grahame published The Reluctant Dragon, a children's book that tells the story of a dragon who doesn't want to be a dragon.

The story is largely an allegory for human growth in which the main character, named Bashful Bulgywort, wants to become human and explore the world beyond his home in the woods.

In order to do this he must convince himself (and others) that he has what it takes to become a knight or firefighter instead of simply being content with being who he is: A dragon.

Gonzo the Great

Gonzo is a blue Muppet character on the TV show "The Muppet Show". He is the drummer of the Electric Mayhem band.

Gonzo has a long nose that he uses as a trumpet and trombone, which he calls his "honker". He sometimes plays other instruments such as saxophone, clarinet or bassoon.

His signature song is called "My Name is Gonzo", though it was only heard once in The Muppet Show.

It can be heard in various episodes of The Jim Henson Hour and The Muppets Take Manhattan but not in any albums featuring original music from The Muppets.

Stitch

Stitch is a blue alien from the Lilo & Stitch franchise. He was created by Jumba Jookiba, who originally intended to use him as a weapon.

Stitch is also known as Experiment 626 and Blue Angel in some promotional material.

Lilo & Stitch: The Series introduced Stitch's close friend, an Earth girl named Lilo Pelekai.

Dory

Dory is a blue fish with short-term memory loss. She is one of the two main characters in Finding Nemo and Finding Dory.

She is voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, who also provides her voice for other characters from the same film series, including Marlin and Destiny.

Dory is an innocent and cheerful clownfish who yearns to be part of something bigger than herself.

When she meets Marlin in Finding Nemo, he takes her under his wing as a way to save himself from becoming a school test subject for the rest of his life (as well as keeping his son safe).

Rio

Rio is a 2011 American 3D computer-animated adventure-comedy film produced by Blue Sky Studios and directed by Carlos Saldanha.

The title refers to the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, whose name is derived from "Rio de Janeiro", which means "River of January".

Sully

Sully is a blue monster. He is the mascot of Fruit Brute cereal, which was introduced in the 1970s, and has been around ever since. Sully's uncle Boo Berry first appeared in 1964, and he is still a popular character today even though Fruit Brute's popularity has waned over time.

The two monsters are both blue and have scary faces that can scare off people who don't like blue or scary things!

They are always hungry because they eat so much fruit cereal all day long!

If you want to meet them at their house on your next trip to Grandma's house, just follow these directions: take off your shoes when you get in (she likes it when we do this) then go straight into her kitchen (it smells good).

Look for some boxes on the countertop labeled "Fruit Brute" - those are from us! Then open them up with care...

Boo Berry

Boo Berry is a blue monster and the mascot of Kellogg's cereal. He was created by Tony the Tiger in 1969.

He is a blue monster with red hair, a red nose, and a red tongue.

Blue M&M

A special edition of the blue M&M character is unique to the brand. It has been in existence since 1990 and was first introduced as a limited edition item, but it has since reappeared several times in different shades: purple, green and even white.

The Blue M&M is shaped like a normal M&M, but it's nearly twice as big (the size of two regular ones) and has a distinct blue color. In total there are only four major variations of this character: red with black spots; green with yellow spots; white without any spots at all; blue with black spots.

In some parts of Europe this candy is called "Blue" or simply "blue ball".

Beast (X Men Movie )

Beast is a superhero in the Marvel Comics universe, who has appeared in various comics, cartoons and video games. The character first appears in X-Men #1.

Buster Bunny

Buster Bunny is a cartoon character created in 1955 by Warner Bros. Animation, who first appeared in the animated short film, "Rabbit's Kin", which was nominated for an Academy Award.

Buster is the main character of the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. He is best known for his outrageous personality and catchphrase: "That's all folks!"

In Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies: The Essential Collection (2003), Robert McKimson said he based Buster on Bugs Bunny because he looked so much like him that it would be easy for animators to draw a new character (and since Disney had already claimed ownership to all things rabbit).

But when McKimson started drawing drawings of this new rabbit, he noticed that there were similarities between him and Daffy Duck; thus starting out as a Daffy Duck clone who was supposed to fill in for Porky Pig during his absence from films after 1943 until 1945 due to World War II service).
